I. Application Requirements
Minimum Applications: A minimum of 50 complete and eligible applications must be received for the competition to be valid. If fewer than 50 applications are submitted by the deadline, the competition may be canceled or postponed at the discretion of the organizers.

- Submission Form: All submissions must complete the official application form, which can be accessed here. Incomplete or false applications may be disqualified.

- Required Document: Applicants must upload a valid a photo ID into their E-JAM account.

- A brief business explanation about your business or idea (maximum 2 pages) uploaded to your E-JAM account.

- A pitch video (maximum 3 minutes) introducing the business and explaining the innovative aspects.

- You must be a registered E-JAM Member to participate in the competition.



II Judging Criteria: Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Innovation & Creativity: How unique and innovative the business idea or product is.
- Business Model: Sustainability and scalability of the business model.
- Impact: Potential for positive economic, social, or environmental impact.
- Leadership & Vision: The skills and vision of the entrepreneur(s) in leading the business forward.
- Financial Health: The financial stability and growth potential of the business.



III. Competition Phases
Phase 1 – Application Submission: Applicants must submit their completed applications by December 24, 2024.
Phase 2 – Evaluation: A panel of judges will review all applications and select finalists based on the criteria outlined above. Top 4 finalists will be notified by January 21, 2025.
Phase 3 – Final Pitch: Top 4 finalists will be required to present a live pitch (in-person or virtual) to the judging panel on a date to be announced in January 2025. Finalists will be given 5 minutes to present their business, followed by a Q&A session with the judges.
Phase 4 – Winner Announcement: The winner will be contacted by March 17, 2025 and announced publicly shortly thereafter. 

 

IV. Terms & Conditions
- Intellectual Property: By submitting an application, participants agree that all intellectual property rights to their business ideas remain with the applicant. However, the organizers may retain the right to use applicant materials for promotional purposes.

- Publicity: By entering the competition, participants agree to allow the competition organizers to use their names, business names, and images in promotional and media materials related to the competition.

- Disqualification: The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any applicant who does not meet the eligibility requirements, provides false information, or fails to adhere to competition guidelines.

- Non-Transferability: Non-cash prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

- Conduct: All applicants must adhere to ethical and professional standards throughout the competition. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, unethical, or illegal may result in disqualification.

- Judging Panel: The decisions of the judges are final and binding.

- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes not specifically covered in these rules will be resolved by the competition organizers in a fair and transparent manner.
