Is it safe to install?

Yes, here's why you can trust it

Downloading outside the Play Store is called sideloading, a standard practice used by millions of Android users worldwide.

Signed & Tamper-proof

The APK is signed with our official keystore, the same process used for Google Play. Any tampering breaks the signature and the install will fail.

Full App Experience

You get the complete E-JAM app: browse jobs, apply, track applications, and message employers, exactly as it will appear on Google Play.

Manual Updates for Now

Since this is a pre-Play Store beta, updates won't install automatically. We'll notify you when a new version drops so you can re-download and reinstall.

A few things to be aware of

Android will show a warning
Expect a "Install from unknown source" prompt. This is normal for any APK installed outside Google Play. It does not mean the file is unsafe.
No automatic updates
Beta users must manually re-download to get new versions. Follow our social pages or check this page for update announcements.
Coming to Google Play soon
We're submitting to Google Play as our next step. Once listed, you'll be able to update automatically and Google Play Protect will monitor the app.

How to Install on Android

Takes less than 2 minutes. Follow these steps:

Download the APK
Tap the "Download for Android" button above to save the file to your phone.

Allow installation from unknown sources
Go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps → tap your browser or file manager → toggle Allow. You only need to do this once.

Open the downloaded file
Find the downloaded file in your notifications or in your Downloads folder and tap it.

Tap Install
Android will show a confirmation prompt, tap Install and you're done. The E-JAM app will appear on your home screen.
Android 8+ Quick Path
Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps → [Your browser] → Allow

This is a one-time toggle per app you use to install it. You won't need to do it again.
